I just received this product today and the quality is excellent. Keep in mind that it comes with its own microfiber cloth and screen/wheel protector. The case fits snugly on my iPod classic 6G 120GB.This case is not flimsy or thin which really helps keep my iPod safe. One of the best featureS about it is that it completely covers the whole iPod except of course the lock button, headphone jack, and USB cable port.Best of all it was delivered quickly and before the estimated date of arrival.
If you're driving in your car and lay this thing on a flat surface, it will constantly rock and roll around on the ridge. I'm constantly wiping my hands on my jeans after handling this case because it feels like there's a residue left on my hands.2. There are 3 things about this case I can't live with:1. At the top of my screen, the silicone piece that is supposed to cover the top edge of the iPod doesn't lay against the metal.
It is like the powder coated rubber gloves that doctors wear. I have the 120GB Classic (6th Gen) and this case isn't going to cut it. I want my iPod to lay flat and not move; this case doesn't allow that.3. One side of the material is always showing a gap.I bought this case based on the fairly high reviews, but it didn't work out for me. The back of the case has an unusual ridge from top to bottom.
The fit isn't great. I have an "Incipio" case on my nano ipod, and it fits much better (plus it doesn't have a creepy feel to it, and it lays flat). The texture/feel of the case is creepy. It looks like it is peeling upward and I'm constantly pushing it back down. It adds extra padding, but at the same time it doesn't allow your iPod to lay flat.
It rocks around on this ridge of padding. Also, the cut-out around the wheel doesn't lay flat either. So, I'm going to toss this one and go with another Incipio.
The product itself is fine, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit the thicker 80GB ipod players (model No. A1136).
I have two reasons for not liking this product. Second, this sleeve lacks a clip to attach to clothing, so there is no easy way to attach it to clothing. First is lack of protection. If the ipod is dropped while in this case, it will not be scratched, but will be dented through its thin rubber sleave. If you are looking for a protective sleeve that can be clipped onto your pocket or other place, then look elsewhere. I have returned this item.
I have an 80 gb iPod. It is easy to stretch and does add protection for the iPod. This cover does not fit properly. You have to shift it around to use the lock button and the headphone jack. I tried 2 different covers from Best Buy that were supposed to be for the 80 gb also and they were worse than this one. Bottom line only OK.
